Wood Fired Pizza in Albany - Trojan Woodfired Pizza & Kebabs

We discovered a new Pizza place in Albany on the weekend. Trojan Woodfired Pizza and Kebabs on Stirling Terrace, next door to the Georges Hotel...open every night till late.  Serving genuine wood fired pizza....it was so good.  Friendly service - take away or dine in.  We tried the Trojan Fire and BBQ Chicken YUMMY!!!!  Crust was nice and thin with lots of delicious topping.  We will return and recommend!!

Albany's Beautiful Harbour

The view of our harbour from Marine Drive is stunning.....you can stand at any of the numerous lookouts along the way and be mesmerised by the awesome views.  Next time you are in Albany, take a drive along Marine Terrace from Middleton Beach into Town and stop along the many viewing platforms along the way.

Fun at The Boatshed Markets

The Boatshed Markets is the place to be on Sunday Morning....open from 10am enjoy coffee, food, wine, music and local produce and crafts.  If the weather is sunny sit on the beach and enjoy a cup of coffee and some awesome waffles.

Albany's Wine & Tapas Bar

RATS is Albany's Tapas & Wine Bar.  Share small plates of food and enjoy local chef Dan Sharp's passion for seafood and local fresh produce.  Serving local wines, this century-old former guest house has been restored using recycled bricks and Oregon beams.

At HideAway Haven we believe guests eat with their eyes.  After a visit to the US recently we discovered that quantity was more important than quality in a lot of places. Should we serve Gelato to HideAway Haven guests in the summer?

We visited Frost Gelato SanTan Village a very popular gelato spot....it was so hard to choose, luckily there were samples so we got try a couple. Becki had salted caramel popcorn flavour and Maggie had Ferrero Rocher. It was so delicious we are thinking of introducing it for our guests in the summer. Researching gelato machines and recipes now in time for summer.
