Hideaway Haven was the most outstanding accommodation we had during our five week visit to Australia. From the luxurious bedroom and bathroom to the fully equipped kitchen/laundry and lounge area, every convenience (including free internet) and comfort was provided for guests in order to create a relaxing experience. With a maximum of 6 guests at any one time, it was always possible to enjoy the outdoor spa in peace, or view the countryside (complete with horses, kangaroos, and many species of birds) from the spacious treetop level balcony. Our choices from the varied breakfast menu (delicious, innovative dishes) were enjoyed on our own balcony, and we could take a break from restaurant food by preparing a meal in the guests' kitchen and eating at the dining table in the common room. The Albany, Western Australia area has bush walks, wonderful deserted beaches with exquisite blue water, museums, restaurants and cafes, and activities.
This is a perfect 'haven' for couples to connect with nature (or each other), and experience this southwestern corner of Australia in comfort.

HideAway Haven always chooses the freshest and best ingredients available, ensures they have the best taste, texture and colour and prepared lovingly with attention to detail.
What is a gourmet breakfast? It is a breakfast that is superior in cooking style, simplicity, taste, smell and looks amazing. The emphasis on our gourmet breakfasts is on the quality of the ingredients and not just the quantity.
We present the food with flair and not just ‘piled up on the plate’. An interestingly arranged breakfast tray will add enjoyment to the meal.
We enjoy cooking special gourmet breakfast for our guests that will be of great benefit to their soul and taste buds

In this stress-filled life of ours, we all deserve to take some time out to unwind, relax and indulge. Once in a while we need to remind ourselves why we work so hard. If we do not take the time to indulge what is the point of overtime hours and working weekends? We need to splurge on ourselves and loved ones to maintain a perspective on life. Special memories are made of special times with loved ones.
HideAway Haven is the retreat for those who enjoy the finer things in life. Walk down the stairs and be insulated from the worries of the world. Leave stress and deadlines behind.
Enjoy a scrumptious meal prepared by our gourmet chef, immerse yourself into the Jacuzzi, fall asleep in our luxurious beds ‘like sleeping on a cloud’ and watch the stars and moon through your window.
Wake up to the sounds of the gentle breeze in the trees, the sounds of birds feeding down below, watch the kangaroos, cows and horses in the distance and indulge in a gourmet breakfast.

There truly is nothing more relaxing than taking a dip in a warm and relaxing bath in a luxurious Jacuzzi. It seems like every minute spent in that tub is heaven, de-stressing your mind and rejuvenating your soul. Our outdoor Jacuzzi and its massaging streams of water not only do wonders for tired and aching muscles but they help to remove stress and anxiety that are a common consequence of living a fast-paced lifestyle. What could be more perfect than sharing a Jacuzzi on a cold winter’s night with someone special? Book in now at HideAway Haven and enjoy a Jacuzzi under the open skies

A review from Trip Advisor
Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful, tranquil, with every comfort. Delicious breakfast on our balcony watching the parakeets play in the trees; moonlit jacuzzi on the deck; and delightful hosts who made us feel so at home. We won't forget our stay!
The Wine Detective went her own way in Western Australia. Click Here to read what she had to say about HideAway Haven. She also enjoyed tasting some of Mount Barker Community College's wine.
There is beauty in Albany at any time of the year, but for those who want to visit in August or September the wild flowers are abundant. Between May and October whales are migrating through our waters. Winter turns on some of the most spectacular sunrises and rainbows and the Kalgan River turns pink as sunset approaches. HideAway Haven is nestled near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, there is no through traffic. Whether you are planning to stay one day or a week make HideAway Haven your home when you visit Albany. It's the perfect destination to rest, relax and revitalise.
